Yes I usually do preliminary drawings before I just go at it haha
I also draft most of my own patterns to get the perfect fit and style. Yes I did! I really like sewing and man if I had more time it would be a bigger hobby of mine. ; c;
But people would probably give me odd stares haha!
Thank you! I am working on a commission for a friend of a Robin costume at the moment actually. It's a bit different since it's skin tight, but I think it will turn out. I'll post pictures when I finish. c:

I'm working out the pattern right now, I've got most of the torso section figured out but not the legs yet. I've never made skin tight pants or anything of the sort before, and I've never made anything for a male either so there are some challenges down there that I am unfamiliar with haha
Yeah Robin is his favorite hero and I'm pretty sure he just wants to wear it whenever he can lol He's like an adult kid.
Just be sure to take ALL measurements from the guy or let him provide you with all the nessecary measurements of the important parts which will make up the costume! Also when do you have time for this? Something on the weekends? I'm really struggling to find time for working on my predator cosplay limited to sundays etc
I think I'm going to be one of those people in my 50s who still acts like a kid lol, and I hope I'm successful too!
I have taken all the measurements, and I have made some of the costume rather form fitting, though it shouldn't take much since we're using spandex. I've never sewn with something like this though so I'm going to take it slow. I'm not sure if it will matter too much if it' too form fitting if it's going to be stretchy? idk, it will be trial and error I guess.
